Apple has clarified that no third-party app shops will be added to the iPad. This is reported by the publication 9to5Mac.
The corporation noted that support for third-party shops on iOS, which was announced in late January, will not appear on the iPad platform. Thus, Apple tablets were deprived of important features that will appear on iPhone smartphones.
According to media journalists, iPadOS will not have the function of downloading applications bypassing the App Store, alternative Apple Pay payment systems and new browsers. Apparently, the company decided that the European Digital Markets Act (DMA) only applies to iOS, and iPadOS is a completely different operating system.
