Chinese company Xreal has introduced new augmented reality (AR) glasses. This is reported by the publication GSMArena.
The released device has a form factor of conventional glasses. The device received lenses-screens and two cameras installed in the wishbone, which allow you to record spatial video. Each screen of the Air 2 Ultra has a resolution of 1080 pixels, a frequency of 120 hertz, a brightness of 500 nits and a viewing angle of 52 degrees.
According to the manufacturer, the glasses’ cameras and software can be used to track objects with six degrees of freedom (6DoF). The consumer can also control the device with their hands without using external controllers. According to journalists, the Xreal Air 2 Ultra can be considered a cheap alternative to Apple’s Vision Pro, priced at $3,499. The Chinese device costs $ 700, or about 63 thousand rubles.
