Marvel Studios executives chose a new Hulk for the Avengers film just a day before the official announcement, which took place at a presentation during the Comic-Con festival in San Diego. This was revealed by actor Mark Ruffalo.
On the eve of Comic Con 2010, where the full cast of “The Avengers” was to be announced and presented, the deal between the studio shooting “!The Avengers” and representatives of the actor himself was still not concluded.
Mark Ruffalo received a call from his agent who told him literally the following: “Look out your window at five o’clock in the morning. If you see a car standing under your windows, you got the part. If it’s not there, just go back to bed.”
