Star of the popular series “House of the Dragon” Millie Allcock, who played Rhaenyra Targaryen, will be the new performer of the role of Supergirl in the DC film universe, which is being relaunched by studio head James Gunn.
The character is expected to appear in one or more of the studio’s team-up films and only then will there be talk of a solo project. Whether Supergirl will debut in Superman: Legacy, which will be directed by James Gunn himself, or some other comic book adaptation is still unknown. Sources believe filming with Millie Allcock could begin as early as autumn 2024.
